Counselling Service

The School Counselling Service, in line with Welsh Government directives, will continue to offer support to learners during this difficult period.

Current School Counselling Service clients will be given the option of telephone or online counselling support subject to age and their individual preference. Counsellors will liaise with their clients and link teachers in school to arrange appointments at agreed times in order to ensure continuity of support.

New referrals for counselling are also being accepted. Young people aged 11 to 19 can self-refer by emailing school.counsellor@pembrokeshire.gov.uk where a counsellor will be allocated to progress the referral process. Parents/carers can use this email address to enquire about counselling on behalf of their children and young people if they wish.

Professionals working with children and young people in Year groups 5 to 11 can also refer into school counselling by emailing: school.counsellor@pembrokeshire.gov.uk
